Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Tester / QA Analyst to support quality assurance initiatives through manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test cases, validating software functionality, tracking defects, maintaining testing documentation, and collaborating with development teams to ensure high-quality software releases.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
Perform functional, regression, and system testing.
Validate application functionality, reliability, and performance.
Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using JIRA.
Work closely with developers to resolve issues and verify fixes.
Maintain test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
Support and enhance test automation efforts.
Participate in QA process improvements and testing best practices.
Communicate testing progress, risks, and results with project stakeholders.

Required Skills

5+ years of hands-on automation scripting experience.
4+ years of experience with JIRA.
4+ years of experience with Xray.
Experience with both manual and automated software testing.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
Experience with regression testing and defect lifecycle management.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with test case management tools.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality.

Additional Information

Hybrid role; onsite attendance required as needed.
Candidates must currently reside in the United States.
In-person interview required.
Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
