Job Title: Creative/Art Production Coordinator
Location: Los Angeles CA (hybrid, onsite 3 days per week)
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Production Coordinator your role will report to the Creative Production Lead and work closely with the Creative team and our external partners to support the development and creation of Riftbound art assets, trafficking our world-class illustrations from conception to completion. You will collaborate with the art discipline leads, external development team, IP Strategy team, and Production teams in Los Angeles and Shangai to maintain consistency in workflow, and quality expectations. You help us build work systems, ensure execution, and provide stakeholders with visibility on complex deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the Production Leads are apprised of workflow deadlines, manage priorities, flag any potential scheduling issues that may cause delays and work collaboratively with teams to effectively resolve them.
Collaborating with our External Development team to ensure our external partners are onboarded correctly and given all the tools and support they need to deliver their work
Provide artists and external vendors with the necessary specs and reference needed to ensure technical requirements and IP considerations are adhered to throughout the job
Use Airtable to project manage, create schedules, traffic deliverables and collect stakeholder feedback
Maintain and organize vendor miro boards for facilitating art drops, delivering feedback, and providing a holistic view of our works in-progress
Help provide quality assurance on all files as they are received and executed, moving through pre-press phases, and prep for final delivery
Maintain and report on project status regularly to stakeholders and dependent teams during weekly rituals
Update and manage the team's Notion pages and documentation.
Assist with additional game production duties as needed
Required Qualifications:
1-3+ years of experience in project management or team administrative logistics
Strong ability to multitask, be proactive and detail oriented.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to break down complex production info into clear, actionable updates.
Demonstrated ability to proactively surface risks and drive alignment among the team
Experience with common project management tools and art production software (Airtable, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite)
Proficient in the Google ecosystem (drive, docs, sheets, keep)
Handle confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of discretion.
Able to work onsite regularly out of the Riot LA Office; this is a hybrid position, requiring onsite attendance three days per week (preferably Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays).
Must Have:
Adobe Creative
Bachelor Degree
Experience with Google Workspace, Slack and Airtable (Client s preferred platforms)
Experience working with collaborative and project management tools, especially AirTable, Miro and Notion.
Nice to Have:
2D Illustration
Managed print production
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in the game development industry and knowledge of the game development process. Experience with TCGs is a plus!
Experience as an illustrator and/or manager of digital or print art production
