Kforce has a client that is seeking a Lead Developer in San Antonio, TX.
Summary:
This role is a Lead Developer position, focusing on AWS, Apache Flink, Java, Spring Boot, REST and Kafka. We are seeking a motivated and eager Lead to join our dynamic technology team. This role is ideal for a professional passionate about software development who will work closely with senior engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions using a modern technology stack. This is an opportunity to gain an enterprise level experience in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Kafka, and cloud-native development on AWS, while contributing to impactful projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
* Development experience in cloud computing concepts, particularly AWS services
* Development experience in Apache Flink Pipeline Jobs
* Experience with AWS services such as EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Step Functions
* Experience in Golang development for EKS and Lambda
* Experience with Terraform
* Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
* Foundational knowledge of Java programming
* Understanding of core Spring Boot concepts
* Familiarity with RESTful API principles
* Basic understanding of messaging queues or streaming platforms like Kafka
* Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
* Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
