We are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to support enterprise application reporting and analytics initiatives for a large public sector organization. This role will focus on building and enhancing Power BI dashboards, SQL-based data queries, and reporting capabilities while collaborating with development teams supporting enterprise software systems.
The ideal candidate has strong experience with Power BI, SQL, and enterprise application environments, and enjoys delivering scalable reporting solutions that support data-driven decision making.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business and operational reporting needs
- Write and optimize SQL queries to support reporting, analytics, and data integration requirements
- Collaborate with application development teams to enhance reporting capabilities within enterprise software systems
- Support enhancements to application functionality, including updates to business logic and user interface components
- Integrate reporting solutions with RESTful APIs and backend services
- Perform unit testing, code reviews, and documentation to ensure high-quality and maintainable code
- Troubleshoot production issues and conduct root cause analysis to resolve defects and system issues
- Support application deployments and testing across multiple environments
- Maintain compliance with coding standards, testing procedures, and security policies
- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable reporting and analytics solutions
qualifications:
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software development, business intelligence, or enterprise reporting
- Strong experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports
- Advanced SQL skills working with relational databases
- Experience supporting reporting and analytics within enterprise application environments
- Experience working with RESTful APIs or service-based architectures
- Experience with unit testing frameworks and development best practices
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Java / Spring-based application environments
- Experience with Angular or modern web UI frameworks
- Experience with Crystal Reports or legacy reporting tools
- Experience supporting large enterprise or government systems
- Experience working in Agile development environments
