We are hiring a Test Engineer based in Cupertino, CA (Onsite) to work on advanced integration testing for headless data pipeline systems. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about validating complex service-to-service architectures and building robust automated testing frameworks.
In this role, you will design and develop scalable integration test frameworks to validate communication across multiple system components. You will create end-to-end regression test suites that ensure the reliability of the entire service chain, particularly for headless or service-only architectures with no UI. A key responsibility will be integrating these test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous automated regression testing and faster release cycles.
You will work closely with development and DevOps teams to understand system architecture, identify test scenarios, and ensure comprehensive coverage across services. The role requires hands-on experience with Android SDK and strong familiarity with service-based architectures. You will also use tools like emulators and ADB for testing and debugging, ensuring system stability and performance.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of development or testing experience with strong expertise in Android SDK and integration testing. You should have experience writing end-to-end and regression test cases, along with hands-on knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions. Familiarity with Git and service-to-service communication patterns is essential.
Preferred candidates will have experience with Kotlin, modern testing frameworks, and working with headless or backend-driven mobile systems. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment are key to success in this role.
