They are not looking for Embedded Engineers. They need candidates with a strong understanding of software systems engineering.

About the company:
An engineering and product-development company based in Silicon Valley that specializes in developing sophisticated electronic and embedded systems and work with clients on projects involving hardware, firmware, FPGA development, IoT, sensors, and other complex electronic products.

This is a remote, 3-month contract opportunity that might require travel to the San Francisco Bay Area/Silicon Valley required on occasion.

Required / Desired / Job Description:

• 10+ years experience in analog design engineering is required.
• Must be sr. level, experienced, very technical, and a good communicator with teams, customers, etc.  
• Experience designing circuits with switching regulators, analog-to-digital converters, sensor signal conditioning, and amplifiers (Class A to Class D).
• Familiarity with digital circuits is required.  
• Ability to design digital circuits is highly desired.  
• Familiarity with EMC including supervising testing and identifying and fixing problems is highly desired.
• Ability to program in a preferred sw language is desired.
• Familiarity with PPG, ECG, and GSR sensors is high desired.
• Well-rounded individual who also has an interest and ability with digital design or software is highly desired.  
• Ability to supervise others is desired.
• The person must enjoy learning and be able to learn quickly.
• Must enjoy working with customers and have good communication skills.  
• Must work well with others and be flexible as schedules and priorities change.
• Needs to be organized. 
• No specific industry experience is required.
• Medical Device experience and knowledge is a plus.
