Introduction:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Selenium, ReadyAPI, Rest Assured, TypeScript, Groovy scripting, and CI/CD pipelines. This role involves designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts while ensuring sprint deliverables are met. The Automation Lead will also be responsible for onshore-offshore coordination and customer-facing tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, ReadyAPI, and Rest Assured.
• Implement TypeScript and Groovy scripting for automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with customers to understand requirements, provide test solutions, and manage expectations.
• Ensure smooth coordination between onshore and offshore teams for test execution and delivery.
• Own sprint deliverables and ensure timely completion of all testing activities.
• Integrate automation testing within CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Write and design optimal, efficient, and reusable test cases for comprehensive test coverage.
• Analyze test results, report defects, track issues, and work with developers for high-quality deliverables.
• Provide timely updates to stakeholders, address concerns, and drive quality initiatives.
• Perform manual testing when required to meet sprint goals.
• Continuously improve and optimize test processes for best practices in test automation.

Requirements:

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in automation testing with expertise in Selenium, ReadyAPI, and Rest Assured.
• Strong TypeScript and Groovy scripting skills for test automation.
• Experience in writing, designing, and optimizing test cases for functional, regression, and API testing.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Proven experience in customer-facing roles, managing client expectations and interactions.
• Expertise in onshore-offshore coordination for seamless communication and execution.
• Strong knowledge of API testing, web automation, and performance testing.
• Hands-on experience in manual testing to ensure sprint commitments are met.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with teams and stakeholders.
