Looking for Application Architect Remote Role

Overview

We are seeking two experienced Application Architects to support large-scale application migration programs for global customers. Each architect will lead one strategic program. This role focuses on architectural oversight, dependency management, and ensuring successful execution of migration initiatives delivered by external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide architectural leadership for migration of a mix of COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) and bespoke/custom applications.
• Oversee end-to-end application migration programs executed by third-party partners.
• Ensure all architectural components align with program objectives, timelines, and enterprise standards.
• Identify, track, and manage inter-application dependencies and integration impacts.
• Drive risk assessment and mitigation planning across migration streams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, security, development, and business stakeholders.
• Maintain architectural governance and documentation throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Act as the primary architectural point of contact for assigned program stakeholders.

Required Experience & Skills

• 12+ years of overall IT experience with strong focus on Application Architecture.
• Proven experience leading or governing large-scale application migration or transformation programs.
• Experience working with both COTS applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, etc.) and custom-built enterprise systems.
• Strong understanding of application dependencies, integrations, and enterprise architecture principles.
• Experience coordinating multiple vendors or system integrators.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills in global environments.
