  • Lead architectural discussions and provide technical direction for enterprise-scale cloud-native solutions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
  • Design and implement AI-powered capabilities such as intelligent workflow automation, document processing, recommendation engines, conversational AI, or predictive analytics where appropriate.
  • Integrate Generative AI services and Large Language Models (LLMs) using platforms such as Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Services, or similar AI platforms to enhance business applications.
  • Build AI-enabled APIs and services utilizing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, semantic search, and prompt engineering techniques where applicable.
  • Evaluate and recommend AI technologies, frameworks, and development patterns that improve developer productivity and customer experience.
  • Ensure engineering excellence through code reviews, mentoring, CI/CD best practices, automated testing, and observability.
  • Develop monitoring, alerting, and operational dashboards to meet SLA and reliability objectives.
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Draft architecture documentation, technical specifications, and design decisions.
  • Refactor and modernize existing applications while ensuring maintainability, scalability, and performance.
  • Design systems that are configurable, extensible, resilient, and secure by leveraging modern architectural patterns.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in a technical leadership or principal engineering role.
  • Expert-level proficiency in C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and SQL.
  • Strong experience developing cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure, including:
    • Azure App Services
    • Azure API Management (APIM)
    • Azure SQL
    • Cosmos DB
    • Azure Key Vault
    • Azure Service Bus
    • Azure Event Hubs
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, OAuth2, and secure API development.
  • Experience building microservices and event-driven architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS).
  • Experience implementing caching strategies using Redis or similar technologies.
  • Experience integrating AI capabilities using Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Services, OpenAI APIs, or similar enterprise AI platforms.
  • Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, semantic search, and AI orchestration frameworks such as Semantic Kernel or LangChain.
  • Experience building AI-assisted applications while implementing responsible AI and security best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with observability platforms such as Datadog, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
  • Deep knowledge of Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and secure software development practices.
  • Strong understanding of financial industry compliance standards including PCI DSS, SOC 2, and secure coding practices.
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and technical leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), fintech, digital banking, or embedded finance platforms.
  • Experience with partner onboarding workflows, API ecosystems, and SLA management.
  • Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot technologies, or enterprise AI governance.
  • Knowledge of machine learning lifecycle (MLOps) concepts and AI model deployment.
  • Experience contributing to open-source projects, technical blogs, or conference presentations.
  • Microsoft Azure Developer, Azure Solutions Architect, or Azure AI Engineer certifications are a plus.
