Java Developer

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to support an Integrated Eligibility Project currently in the Maintenance & Operations (M&O) phase . The selected candidate will be responsible for enhancing, maintaining, and supporting existing Java-based applications critical to program eligibility systems.

Job Title: Java Developer
Location: Lansing, MI (Remote)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications for integrated eligibility systems.
• Support M&O activities including issue resolution, enhancements, and system optimization.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and other technical teams to ensure system stability and performance.
• Analyze existing application code and implement required changes with minimal disruption.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices.
• Participate in production support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience in Java development .
• Experience supporting applications in the M&O phase .
• Solid understanding of enterprise application development and maintenance.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with distributed teams.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
