We are seeking a Systems Engineer - Controls to support the validation and testing of advanced vehicle control systems, including braking, steering, and suspension technologies. This hybrid contract opportunity offers the chance to work on safety-critical embedded software in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and execute software validation plans using MiL, SiL, and HiL testing environments.

  • Create automated test solutions using Python and industry-standard tools.

  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot software issues, and support root cause investigations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure software quality and compliance.

  • Review requirements and expand test coverage through fault insertion and negative testing.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in embedded software validation, controls engineering, or software testing.

  • Experience with MiL, SiL, or HiL testing methodologies.

  • Knowledge of test automation and scripting, preferably Python.

  • Familiarity with tools such as ecu.test, Vector CANoe/CANape/CANalyzer, or MATLAB Simulink is preferred.

  • Experience with automotive embedded systems is highly desired.
