Summary

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer for our Electrical Department in Wall, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Experience or proficiency in the utilization of AutoCAD is preferred but not required.
  • Revit BIM modeling experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and reliability.
  • Ability to work in a team environment or individually.
  • Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License and pass a background check.
  • BSEE from an accredited college or university.
  • 2 years minimum experience in the design of Electrical systems.
  • Ability to manage MEP projects is a plus.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) is a plus.
  • Required Qualifications

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Knowledge of electrical and building codes and standards, including National Electrical NEC, NFPA-72, Energy Code, and International Building Code (IBC)
  • Experience with fire alarm system design, lighting design, lighting control and building low voltage systems requirements
  • Proficient and accurate in all areas of AutoCAD
  • Experience with Revit MEP is preferred but not required
  • Ability to meet fast-paced deadlines while maintaining quality design
  • Sincere commitment to learning new skills and accepting new responsibilities
  • EIT registration is preferred but not required

Compensation

The projected compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $105,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education and skill set.
