French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer for our Electrical Department in Wall, NJ.
Responsibilities- Experience or proficiency in the utilization of AutoCAD is preferred but not required.
- Revit BIM modeling experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and reliability.
- Ability to work in a team environment or individually.
- Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License and pass a background check.
- BSEE from an accredited college or university.
- 2 years minimum experience in the design of Electrical systems.
- Ability to manage MEP projects is a plus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) is a plus.
- Required Qualifications
Qualifications- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of electrical and building codes and standards, including National Electrical NEC, NFPA-72, Energy Code, and International Building Code (IBC)
- Experience with fire alarm system design, lighting design, lighting control and building low voltage systems requirements
- Proficient and accurate in all areas of AutoCAD
- Experience with Revit MEP is preferred but not required
- Ability to meet fast-paced deadlines while maintaining quality design
- Sincere commitment to learning new skills and accepting new responsibilities
- EIT registration is preferred but not required

CompensationThe projected compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $105,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education and skill set.
