Solution Architect (Insurance Domain)

Job Title: Solution Architect Location: Erie, Pennsylvania (Onsite Work Opportunity) Duration: 23+ Months
Job Duties Include but are not limited to the following: The Solution Architect will be responsible for

• Design solutions for the project that enable customer to meet their process business goals
• Leading the requirement session with the client
• Development of solution architecture and design across a set of applications or an application product family within an enterprise

Duties And Responsibilities

• Development of solution architecture and design across a set of applications or an application product family within an enterprise
• Enable the customer to fulfil the stated project objectives
• Lead solution of the product implementation
• Support the execution of the project from a solution perspective and a technology perspective
• Prepare and review estimations
• Support presales
• Support QC

Skills Attributes Required Essential

• Strong PCLA Insurance domain knowledge in the North American, Indian, Asia Pacific, and UK markets
• Experience in ICD ICM
• Experience in UML-based analysis and design using tools, e.g., Rational Rose, Together J
• Experience in setting up business rules and workflow engines
• Design and development experience with object-oriented programming in the Java technology stack
• Experience in both high level as well as low level design
• Should have conducted requirements sessions, understanding the customer's business processes
• Understand and use frameworks to design and review solutions for functional and non-functional requirements
• Leading a team of software specialists and engineers for the creation and implementation of solution architecture for a product application
• Experience in any database with a clear understanding of RDBMS concepts

Desirable

• Experience in performance tuning of product applications
• Exposure to design frameworks
• Exposure to automation tools

Functional Skills

• Understand the principles of accounting or commerce or finance

Other skills

• Managing a team of 10 to 12 resources
• Good communication is necessary as there would be a need to work closely with the customers
• Ready to travel onsite for a 23-month duration
• Experience in Estimation methodologies
