Summary

Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst (Medicaid)
Location: Austin, TX, (Onsite)

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Working on a major system modernization project for building a new Medicaid application.
  • The Worker will be a part of the team responsible for providing project and product oversight of the Medicaid IT-Contracted Systems efforts, integrated projects, and support of dependent efforts.
  • The Worker will support and provide oversight of documentation and delivery of application functionality as part of the Medicaid IT-Contracted systems applications team.
  • The Worker will assist in creating processes and documentation to ensure a consistent understanding and approach to align with the agency direction for an integrated solution.

Manage a project’s scope, acceptance, and deployment, and monitor system integration and user acceptance testing

Perform the analysis of HHS policies, procedures, and standards to determine their effect on automated systems and system functional areas

Experience using TFS/ADO to create, manage, and maintain requirements throughout the development lifecycle

Experience using Microsoft products, such as MS Office, SharePoint, and Copilot

Demonstrated understanding of enterprise system components such as user interfaces, data layers, infrastructure, and integrations; knowledge of business rules engines and workflow orchestration; familiarity with cloud-based solutions preferred

Experience and knowledge of Texas HHSC processes as well as Texas Medicaid and CHIP systems

Experience updating portfolio project management tools and management of state level major information resource project information
