Responsibilities:
- Under close supervision, use standard molecular biology techniques to conduct experiments aimed at establishing and validating various cell lines tailored toward specific project needs
- Design, execute, and troubleshoot experiments efficiently
- Analyze data and effectively communicate results
- Learn advanced technologies to expand scientific knowledge and technical skills
- Collaborate with members within the Oncology Research Department to support project advancement and decision making
- Prepare and deliver internal scientific presentations and reports as needed; contribute to external publications
- Operate and maintain lab equipment
- Comply with applicable regulations, performing all work in a safe manner
- Maintain proper records in accordance with SOPs and policies
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with three-plus (3+) years of experience in a related scientific discipline OR Master's Degree from an accredited institution in a related scientific discipline
- No PhD candidates will be considered
- Good understanding of basic scientific principles and research practices
- Industry experience is preferred
- Extensive research experience using molecular biology techniques, including aseptic cell culture, CRISPR/Cas9, genomic DNA extraction/RNA purification, PCR, molecular cloning, transfection, transduction, RT-qPCR, and Western Blot
- Proficient in data analysis, result interpretation, troubleshooting, and solving technical issues
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with computers and data analysis software
- Ability and willingness to work effectively in a highly collaborative research environment
- Experience with designing multi-color flow cytometry panels, cell sorting, and data analysis using FlowJo
- Research experience in immunology and viral vector construction
