We are looking for a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team in Charleston, South Carolina. In this role, you will provide technical expertise to support a diverse range of clients, ensuring their systems run efficiently and securely. This position offers opportunities to deepen your knowledge in networking, security, and software solutions while contributing to process improvements and delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients across various industries, addressing day-to-day system issues and installations.

Oversee and assist support technicians in resolving trouble tickets and managing system deployments.

Enhance your expertise in network architecture, security protocols, and industry-specific software solutions.

Participate in collaborative problem-solving and process optimization with the team.

Obtain certifications in leading IT software systems to expand technical proficiency.

Configure, troubleshoot, and deploy Windows servers, Active Directory, and associated platforms.

Manage and support enterprise deployments of hardware and software, including networking equipment like Zyxel and Meraki.

Implement and maintain firewall and security systems, with experience in Sophos, Meraki, and Zyxel being advantageous.

Conduct data cable terminations and ensure proper system connectivity.

Contribute to projects involving telephony systems, backup solutions, and point-of-sale operations.

Requirements

Advanced experience with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server Active Directory.
Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting enterprise hardware and software deployments, including Zyxel and Meraki systems.
Hands-on experience with firewall and security systems such as Sophos, Meraki, and Zyxel.
Knowledge of telephony systems, backup systems, and file storage solutions is a plus.
Familiarity with tools for data cable termination and basic technical operations.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel for on-site support.
Experience in restaurant operations or point-of-sale systems is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning through certifications.
