Role Overview
An experienced Senior IT Project Manager / Business Analyst is sought to support the successful delivery of strategic and tactical technology initiatives. This consultant will lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects from initiation through completion while providing business analysis, process improvement, and change management support. The ideal candidate will have experience managing enterprise-level IT initiatives, gathering business requirements, coordinating cross-functional teams, and communicating with leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, communications, and resource coordination.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, work breakdown structures, RAID logs, decision logs, communication plans, status reports, dashboards, and executive updates.
- Manage cross-functional teams consisting of internal IT professionals, vendors, subject matter experts, and business partners.
- Facilitate working sessions to validate project scope, requirements, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
- Maintain alignment among project sponsors, technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
- Identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints and implement mitigation strategies.
- Support procurement activities as needed, including Requests for Proposals, Statements of Work, vendor evaluations, and vendor oversight.
- Ensure project activities comply with established policies, security requirements, records management standards, and governance frameworks.
- Provide regular project updates through established reporting channels and recurring stakeholder meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 7 years of project management experience supporting moderately to highly complex initiatives.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing IT, regulatory, compliance, or enterprise-level initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience with business analysis, requirements gathering, process documentation, and process redesign.
- Experience leading cross-functional technical and business teams.
- Experience managing project scope, schedules, resources, risks, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse technical and business teams.
- Ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
- Ability to operate successfully in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or workstreams.
- Schedule management and resource planning capabilities.
- Experience identifying, mapping, analyzing, and re-engineering business processes.
- Experience developing and maintaining integrated master schedules.
- Experience with Power BI and/or other data visualization and dashboarding tools.
- Experience supporting procurement activities, vendor selection, and vendor management.
- Experience working on enterprise technology, regulatory, or compliance-related projects.
