Summary
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Systems Engineering, Linux Administration, DevOps, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on Linux administration experience.
- Strong experience supporting AWS environments.
- Experience with configuration management/automation tools such as Ansible or SaltStack.
- Strong scripting experience with Bash and/or Python.
- Experience with Docker and virtualization technologies such as KVM.
- Experience supporting GitHub, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD environments.
- Knowledge of networking, storage, NFS, backups, disaster recovery, security, and monitoring.
- Experience troubleshooting production infrastructure.
- Comfortable providing hands-on Tier-1 internal IT support when needed.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline preferred.
Nice to Have
- Grafana or similar monitoring/observability tools.
- AWS organization/account administration.
- Firmware or hardware-in-the-loop testing environments.
- Engineering lab or robotics infrastructure.
- Elasticsearch.
- SonarScanner/Pytest.
- Telecom, wireless, IoT, LTE, or 5G experience.
Candidates must be able to work onsite in San Mateo approximately three days per week.
