Location: 100% Remote (USA)

Duration: Multi-Year Contract (6-Month Extensions)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Technical Developer to join a long-term enterprise SAP transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, ABAP on HANA, SAP Fiori/UI5, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable SAP applications, integrations, and technical solutions in a collaborative Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable business applications on SAP BTP
• Build and enhance custom solutions using SAP ABAP on HANA
• Develop and support SAP Fiori/UI5 applications
• Create and manage OData services and CDS Views
• Translate functional requirements into technical designs and implementation plans
• Develop and manage integrations/interfaces across SAP and non-SAP systems
• Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
• Execute software development lifecycle activities including CI/CD processes
• Collaborate with functional teams, architects, and business stakeholders
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
• Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge sharing

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA
• Hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP / ABAP on HANA
• Experience developing SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 applications
• Strong knowledge of OData Services and CDS Views
• Experience with software design, development, testing, and debugging
• Ability to interpret and implement functional requirements
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Experience using collaboration tools such as:
  • JIRA
  • Confluence
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Zoom
• Strong verbal and written communication skills .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)
• Knowledge of RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model)
• Knowledge of CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)
• Hands-on experience with:
  • SAP BTP Integration Suite / CPI
  • SAP API Management / API Hub
• Experience with AMDP and performance tuning
• Exposure to:
  • SAP Solution Manager (SolMan)
  • Focused Build
  • CHARM
• Experience with GitHub / GitLab
• Background in Product Sourcing, Quotation Management, or SAP Interfaces
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
• Self-driven with strong ownership and prioritization abilities

Preferred Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates with strong RAP + CDS + BTP experience and modern SAP development expertise. Candidates with only SAP ECC support experience will not be considered.
