Location: Partial remote, client in Harrisburg, PA. 2 weeks onsite, 2 weeks remote - client covers travel.

This position will lead the strategy, governance, and run-improve model for SAP S/4HANA under RISE. The SAP COE Manager is responsible for ensuring stable operations, value realization, and controlled innovation across the ERP landscape. The role involves establishing and maturing the Customer Center of Expertise framework, orchestrating demand and portfolio management, and enforcing fit-to-standard and clean core principles. This is a key leadership role in building out a new Center of Excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and mature the Customer COE operating model and governance to maximize SAP ROI.
- Define and manage demand, intake, and portfolio processes.
- Clarify and manage RISE roles and responsibilities across SAP Enterprise Cloud Services, SI partners, and internal teams.
- Lead adherence to SAP Activate, including fit-to-standard workshops and clean core extensibility guardrails.
- Manage SAP Cloud ALM for requirements, testing, deployment, documentation, and operations monitoring.
- Own ITIL-aligned practices for incident, problem, and change enablement.
- Direct release and upgrade management for S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition.
- Manage a cross-functional COE team, including solution leads, analysts, and test leads, and oversee partner resources.
- Ensure compliance with security, data integrity, and audit requirements.
Required Qualifications
Education: A bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
Experience: A minimum of 8 years in SAP delivery is required, with at least 3 years leading an SAP COE or in a similar leadership role within S/4HANA programs. Must have management experience and hands-on experience with S/4HANA. Experience with migrations from on-premise to the cloud is necessary.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with S/4HANA under RISE is required. Proficiency with SAP Cloud ALM for implementation and operations is necessary. A strong command of ITIL incident, problem, and change enablement practices is also required.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP certifications such as SAP Certified Application Associate, SAP Activate Project Manager, or Cloud ALM practitioner.
- Experience with Fiori operations at scale and UX support practices.
- Familiarity with Solution Manager to Cloud ALM transition considerations.
- Industry experience in distribution or manufacturing.
- ITIL certification is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position is $165,000.00 to $170,000.00 annually. A comprehensive benefits package is available to eligible employees.
