Job Title: Sr Project Manager, SAP Security

Location: Newark, NJ (Hybrid) (3 days/week in office)

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in SAP to lead strategic initiatives by delivering end-to-end Portfolio, Program, Project Management, and multi-vendor management. The candidate will guide project teams, oversee budgets and resources, and ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for both Program Management and Project Management.
• Program Management and Project Management responsibilities, ensuring cohesive planning, governance, execution, and delivery across multiple ERP Security initiatives.
• Manage endtoend delivery of projects, including defining scope, developing schedules, coordinating resources, and proactively identifying and managing risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Lead the ERP Security team, setting priorities, assigning tasks, and ensuring timely and accurate resolution of ERP Security requests, incidents, and operational activities.
• Drive stakeholder communication and engagement, ensuring alignment across business units, technical teams, and leadership through continuous updates, expectations management, and transparent collaboration.
• Guide and mentor project managers, ensuring adherence to PMO processes, governance frameworks, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
• Apply hybrid project management methodologies, effectively balancing Waterfall structure with Agile delivery practices to support iterative progress and structured execution.
• Perform Scrum Master responsibilities, facilitating ceremonies, removing impediments, coaching teams, and ensuring delivery velocity and sprint goals are achieved.
• Oversee technical delivery, including financial tracking, budget management, vendor coordination, SOW alignment, and contract oversight to ensure successful outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Global PMO, ensuring release, phase, and sprint objectives are met and that key milestones, success metrics, and deliverables remain on track.
• Provide programlevel reporting to leadership, including consolidated status updates, dashboards, metrics, timelines, critical risks, issues, and executivelevel insights.
• Develop and maintain program and project implementation roadmaps, clearly articulating timelines, dependencies, risks, resourcing needs, and progress indicators.
• Maintain complete and accurate program documentation, including RAID logs, change logs, action registers, decision histories, and deliverable tracking to support governance and audit readiness.

Required Qualifications:

• 12+ years of SAP Project Management experience with a focus on Security, including leadership across complex ERP environments and crossfunctional delivery teams.
• Demonstrated ability to operate in hybrid delivery models, effectively using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies; proven experience performing Scrum Master duties.
• Strong knowledge of PMO frameworks, governance structures, SDLC processes, and Agile delivery best practices, with the ability to implement and uphold standards across multiple workstreams.
• Handson experience facilitating PMO risk, issue, and review meetings, ensuring documented action items, decisions, and followups are tracked and executed with rigor.
• Advanced expertise in budget and financial management, including cost tracking, forecasting, variance analysis, and managing multiyear program budgets.
• Proven success in multivendor management, including contract oversight, performance management, and coordinated resource planning across multiple delivery partners.
• Ability to lead and coordinate complex, multiphase releases and global delivery cycles, including sprint planning, dependency management, and crossregion execution.
• Strong analytical, problemsolving, and riskmanagement capabilities, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationshipbuilding skills, with the ability to influence across business, technical, and leadership teams.
• Proficiency with modern project management tools, including Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent platforms.
• Professional certifications preferred, such as PMP, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent Agile/PM credentials.
• Ability to thrive in dynamic, fastpaced, multiregion and crossfunctional environments, balancing priorities and driving clarity in complex situations.
• Strong facilitation skills, with experience leading standups, sprint events, retrospectives, risk discussions, governance reviews, and executive presentations.
• Demonstrated leadership in driving team accountability, motivation, and continuous improvement, fostering an environment of ownership and high performance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly and concisely to senior leaders.
