Java Backend Developer - W2 - H1 transfer only

Introduction

We are currently seeking a Java Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, experience with Spring Framework, Microservices architecture, and proficiency in Apache Kafka, Apache Cassandra, PostgreSQL, and Authentication technologies. This role will involve hands-on coding and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain backend systems.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement backend services using Java, Spring Framework, and Microservices architecture
Integrate and work with Apache Kafka and Apache Cassandra for data streaming and storage
Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval
Implement secure authentication mechanisms using OAuth and JWT
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend services with user interfaces
Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery
Participate in architectural design discussions and provide technical guidance to team members
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in backend development

Requirements

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in Java programming language
Experience with Spring Framework and Microservices architecture
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for real-time data processing
Familiarity with Apache Cassandra for distributed database management
Knowledge of PostgreSQL for relational database management
Understanding of Authentication mechanisms such as OAuth and JWT

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Previous work on high-traffic, scalable applications
Certifications in Java programming and related technologies
