Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Digital Onshore Test Lead to lead and manage the QA delivery of an Agile QA pod supporting a digital platform. This role will oversee system testing across Web, API, and Mobile (Android & iOS) platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and mentoring skills, hands-on technical expertise, and experience managing hybrid (onshore/offshore) teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a QA pod to ensure high-quality delivery.
Own the end-to-end QA delivery lifecycle for digital initiatives, including planning, execution, and reporting.
Oversee system testing, release readiness, and post-production validation.
Execute automation across:
Web: Playwright
API: RestAssured
Mobile: Espresso (Android) and XCUITest (iOS)
Implement and execute in-sprint automation strategies.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and DevOps teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
Define, track, and report KPIs and QA metrics to measure team performance and product quality.
Ensure timely delivery of test artifacts, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
Coordinate effectively with offshore teams to maintain 24/7 test coverage and seamless handoffs.
Identify risks, escalate issues appropriately, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies.
Required Skills & Experience:
8+ years of experience in QA, including at least 3 years in a QA Lead role.
Proven experience managing onshore-offshore delivery models.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Hands-on experience with:
Playwright for web automation
RestAssured for API testing
Espresso and XCUITest for mobile automation
Experience with test management tools such as JIRA.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
Experience in retail, e-commerce, or digital transformation projects.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
