Voice Assistance Test Specialist

Talent Space, Inc. is seeking a detail oriented Voice Assistance Test Specialist for a contract in Long Beach, CA!

In this role you will test voice interactions, verify command recognition and system responses, and ensure overall performance meets quality standards. You will also translate and localize content between Portuguese and English, document issues, and work closely with engineering teams to enhance functionality.

Fluency in Portuguese and English is required.

Responsibilities:

• Execute voice command testing in Portuguese to validate recognition accuracy and system responses.
• Provide English voice testing support as needed.
• Perform testing in both lab bench setups and, at time, in-vehicle testing environments.
• Translate and localize English voice commands into Portuguese for testing and validation.
• Validate voice assistant responses for functional correctness and linguistic accuracy.
• Partner with engineering teams to monitor system behavior throughout development.
• Identify, document, and track defects discovered during testing.
• Retest fixes and enhancements under the guidance of technical or field specialists.
• Contributes to the creation and maintenance of test plans and documentation.
• Assist with occasional software updates and configuration changes on test vehicles.

Required Skills:

• Fluent in Portuguese and English, with strong verbal and written skills.
• Detail oriented, with the ability to consistently follow structured testing protocols.
• Capable of clearly documenting issues, defects, and test results.
• Possesses solid technical aptitude and comfortable working with software and electronic systems.
• Works effectively with engineering and technical teams in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Additional language proficiency in French and Spanish-a plus.
• Experience with voice assistants, speech recognition technologies, or software testing environments.
• Background in automotive systems or hands-on experience in vehicle testing settings.
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems or test documentation tools.
