Oracle EBS OTL Techno Functional Consultant

Introduction

We are seeking a skilled Oracle EBS OTL Techno Functional Consultant to join our team. The role involves supporting, implementing, and enhancing Oracle Time and Labor solutions within Oracle E-Business Suite. The consultant will collaborate with business users, HR/payroll teams, and technical teams to configure, customize, and maintain Oracle OTL functionalities.

Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

Gather and analyze business requirements related to Time & Labor processes.
Configure Oracle OTL setups including:
- Time entry rules
- Approval workflows
- Layout sets
- Preferences
- Overtime calculations
Support integration between OTL, Payroll, HRMS, and Projects modules.
Conduct requirement discussions and solution walkthroughs with stakeholders.
Prepare functional design documents (FDD) and test cases.
Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and production deployment activities.

Technical Responsibilities

Develop and troubleshoot SQL and PLSQL objects.
Create/customize:
- Reports
- Interfaces
- Conversions
- APIs
- BI Publisher reports
Support Oracle Workflow and AME configurations.
Perform data analysis and issue resolution.
Work on performance tuning and system enhancements.
Coordinate with technical/development teams for custom solutions.

Requirements

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS HRMS and OTL modules.
Understanding of:
- Timecard processes
- Payroll integration
- Absence management
- Approval hierarchies
Experience in requirement gathering and business process analysis.

Technical Skills

Strong SQL and PLSQL knowledge
Oracle Reports / XML Publisher / BI Publisher
Oracle Workflow
APIs and Interfaces
Data migration tools
Basic Unix/Shell scripting knowledge (preferred)
