Pay Rate: $90 - $96
Top Requirements:
  • 7+ years Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent via work, consulting, military, or education.
  • 8-12+ years Product Management / BSC / BA leadership experience in financial services.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise with mainframe core platforms, ideally Hogan (FIS).
  • Strong experience with core banking modernization, configuration analysis, requirements decomposition, and to-be design.
  • Proven ability leading cross-functional teams: Digital PMs, Financial PMs, BSCs, BAs.
  • Experience with data conversion / migration, reconciliation, cutover planning, and runbooks.
  • Experience externalizing product & pricing rules (product catalog, pricing engine, governance).
  • Strong process engineering skills: current-state and future-state flows, system interaction maps.
  • Plusses:
  • Prior experience at a U.S. bank that used Hogan
  • Familiarity with API-first modernization, eventing, data streaming, and config-driven architectures.
  • Experience rebuilding SME knowledge repositories (playbooks, config catalogs, decision logs).
  • Background with regulatory, audit, and control requirements for core banking changes.
  • Experience modernizing/refactoring legacy ETL and downstream integration behaviors.
  • Job Summary:

    This contingent Business Execution Consultant 5 role serves as the Lead Digital Product Manager for core banking modernization within the Small Business segment.

    The role requires a senior, hands-on product leader with deep understanding of Hogan, core configuration, small business product constructs, conversion planning, and process flows.

    This individual will rebuild lost SME knowledge, lead product/pricing externalization, own end-to-end requirements, and guide cross-functional delivery teams.

    They will drive long-term modernization initiatives that are large-scale, multi-system, and high-risk, requiring advanced analytical thinking, strong governance, and strategic leadership.
    Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
    Product Leadership & Strategy
    • Own and drive the product roadmap for Small Business core banking modernization.
    • Translate business outcomes into epics, features, and prioritized backlogs across digital + core systems.
    • Mentor and guide Digital PMs, Financial PMs, BSCs, and BAs.
    Requirements & Analysis
    • Perform deep requirements decomposition; write detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
    • Conduct as-is configuration analysis (especially Hogan) and define the to-be configuration.
    • Develop end-to-end current-state and future-state process flows and interaction diagrams.
    Core Modernization & Migration
    • Lead data conversion planning: mapping, cleansing, reconciliation, dress rehearsals, cutover.
    • Partner with architecture on integration patterns, APIs, and data contracts.
    • Maintain configuration workbooks, traceability maps (requirements test cases), and acceptance criteria.
    Product & Pricing Externalization
    • Drive externalization of product rules and pricing rules for configurability and faster change cycles.
    • Establish governance, versioning, audit trails, and approval workflows.
    Knowledge Capture & Controls
    • Rebuild SME knowledge through playbooks, catalogs, decision logs, and repositories.
    • Embed controls for auditability, data quality, change management, and policy compliance.
    Delivery Excellence
    • Lead UAT planning, operational readiness, parallel runs, and post-conversion stabilization.
    • Manage dependencies across Hogan vendors, platform teams, servicing systems, pricing/fees systems, and online banking.
