JOB DESCRIPTION:

·        60 Months of Experience in Data Engineering, Architecture, Data Governance, or Data Quality Assurance for Financial Reporting.                            

·        60 Months of Experience in SQL and Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), including querying complex datasets.                           

·        60 Months of Experience in Compiling, Computing, and Validating Financial Data using advanced statistical formulas and model calculations.                           

·        36 Months of Experience in Building and Maintaining Data Workflows and data pipelines using database tools, specifically translating business requirements into technical specifications.           

·        36 Months of Experience in Automating Data Ingestion and Reporting using programming languages such as Python, R, or Excel VBA.                   

·        36 Months of Experience in Data Visualization utilizing PowerBI or Tableau.         

·        24 Months of Experience in cloud based data platforms, preferably Snowflake.         

·        12 Months of Experience with MDM and Cataloging Platforms (e.g., Informatica, Collibra, Alation) to execute data profiling and manage metadata/lineage. This is preferable, not essential.

·        Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, or related field).                   

•        Translate complex business requirements from Insurance stakeholders into technical specifications for data pipelines and automated workflows.

•        Build and maintain data warehousing workflows and data pipelines using SQL and cloud database tools.

•        Compile, compute, and validate insurance financial data using advanced statistical formulas and model calculations.

•        Elaborate high-level policies and business needs into technical requirements (user stories/system use cases) to guide platform implementation.

•        Execute data profiling, build exception reports, and manage metadata/lineage using governance platforms.

•        Use technical expertise (Python/VBA/R) to automate data ingestion and reporting processes.
