QA & Automation Engineer / Senior Oracle ERP

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle ERP / SCM QA & Automation Engineer with deep expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Cloud Fusion Applications, SCM, Finance, test automation, API testing, database validation, and enterprise application integrations.

The ideal candidate will combine strong Oracle functional knowledge with hands-on experience in manual and automation testing, API testing, SQL/PLSQL, CI/CD, and test framework development. Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, retail, automotive, aerospace, and other enterprise environments is highly preferred.

The successful candidate will work across both functional and technical QA activities, validating end-to-end Oracle business processes, integrations, interfaces, and applications while developing scalable automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle ERP & SCM Testing

• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing of Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud Fusion Applications.
• Work extensively with Oracle SCM and Financial modules, including:
  • Order Management (OM)
  • Product Information Management (PIM) / Product Hub
  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
  • Inventory
  • Purchasing
  • Warehouse Management (WMS)
  • Shipping
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • General Ledger (GL)
• Validate end-to-end business processes including Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (R2R), and Innovate-to-Commercialize (I2C).
• Support Oracle implementation, upgrade, release, enhancement, and regression testing.
• Develop and execute end-to-end business scenarios across Oracle applications and integrated systems.

Test Automation

• Design, develop, and maintain reusable test automation frameworks using Java, JavaScript, Python, Selenium, and Playwright.
• Develop automated regression suites for Oracle ERP and web-based applications.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid, Playwright, Docker, and related automation technologies.
• Improve automation coverage, reliability, execution time, and maintainability.

API & Integration Testing

• Perform functional and automated testing of REST and SOAP APIs.
• Validate API requests, responses, authentication, data transformation, and integration workflows.
• Use Postman, Node.js, Axios, Fetch, Newman, JSON, and OAuth 2.0.
• Test Oracle FBDI, interface tables, public APIs, EDI integrations, and third-party integrations.
• Validate integrations between Oracle ERP and external enterprise applications.

Database & Data Validation

• Perform backend validation using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Validate database records, interface tables, transactions, and data transformations.
• Develop SQL/PLSQL queries for functional, integration, and data validation testing.
• Perform data reconciliation across source and target systems.
• Validate data integrity throughout end-to-end business processes.

CI/CD & DevOps

• Integrate automated testing frameworks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with Git, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, and related DevOps technologies.
• Support automated test execution as part of application build and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot automation and pipeline failures.

QA Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead QA activities across complex Oracle implementation, upgrade, and integration projects.
• Coordinate with developers, DBAs, business analysts, functional consultants, and application teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to QA and automation engineers.
• Participate in defect triage, root-cause analysis, test planning, and release readiness activities.
• Prepare QA metrics, status reports, test summaries, and project documentation.
• Work effectively with onsite, offshore, and distributed teams.

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Oracle ERP QA / Test Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
• Strong experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion Applications.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle SCM and Finance modules.
• Strong understanding of O2C, P2P, R2R, and I2C business processes.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright.
• Strong programming experience in Java, JavaScript, and/or Python.
• Strong experience with REST/SOAP API testing and Postman.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
• Experience with Oracle interfaces, FBDI, EDI, interface tables, and public APIs.
• Experience integrating automated testing with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, and Docker.
• Strong understanding of enterprise QA processes, test planning, defect management, and release validation.

Preferred Domain Experience

Manufacturing and distribution experience with Oracle SCM is particularly valuable.

• Experience as a QA Lead, Test Lead, QA Manager, or Automation Lead.
• Experience managing or mentoring QA teams.
• Experience with Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS).
• Experience with Oracle APEX.
• Experience with performance/load testing.
• Experience supporting UAT and Conference Room Pilot (CRP) activities.
• Experience with Oracle RICE components — Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Extensions.
• Experience with mobile testing across Android and iOS platforms.
• Experience supporting Oracle implementations, upgrades, and production releases.
