Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced EPIC Cogito BI Developer/Analyst to design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions that support operational and clinical decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will leverage EPIC Cogito tools and Electronic Health Record (EHR) data to deliver actionable insights for healthcare stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and business intelligence reports using EPIC Cogito tools.
- Analyze and transform EHR data into meaningful insights to support clinical and operational initiatives.
- Collaborate with clinicians, business users, and leadership to gather reporting requirements and define KPIs.
- Create data visualizations that effectively communicate trends, performance metrics, and outcomes.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, data models, and reporting solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Support ad hoc reporting requests and data analysis initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and enhance existing reports and dashboards for improved performance and usability.
- Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new EPIC modules and reporting capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- EPIC Cogito Certification (required).
- Strong experience with EPIC Cogito reporting tools, including:
- Radar Dashboards
- SlicerDicer
- Reporting Workbench
- Clarity
- Caboodle
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
- Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) data.
- Strong data visualization and dashboard development skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and performance metrics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in clinical quality reporting and healthcare analytics.
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
Experience Required
- 3+ years of experience in EPIC reporting and analytics.
- Experience in healthcare organizations, hospitals, or health systems preferred.
