As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JP Morgan Chase within the Enterprise Network Services (ENS) organization, you apply deep knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. Continue to evolve your technical and cross-functional knowledge outside of your aligned domain of expertise.

Job responsibilities

  • Apply technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
  • Drives a workstream or project to audit existing process's and methods to ensure architectural hardware and software currency.
  • Works closely with team members across multiple technology domains to ensure risks are identified with associated mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinates with senior personnel to ensure documentation is adequate and place to satisfy internal and external audits.
  • Strongly considers upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications and advises on mitigation actions.
  • Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience with communications networks.
  • Deep knowledge of routing, switching and wireless communications technologies.
  • Drives to continue to develop technical and cross-functional knowledge outside of the product.
  • Ensure compliance with firmwide Compliance and Operational Risk Issue Management standards and procedures year-round
  • Identify, escalate, and implement solutions for operational process improvements

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Network audit experience within a financial institution.
  • Proficient with Microsoft suite of products.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Skilled in maintaining professional documentation for internal and external reporting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio)
  • Experienced with the Archer platform
