Job Title: Azure AI Lead
Job Location: Medina, MN
Job Type: Contract
Job Overview:
  • Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end document intelligence solutions using Azure AI technologies.
  • Develop scalable AI pipelines, optimize large language model workflows, and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business needs.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, data, or applied machine learning.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure AI services including document intelligence and vector search.
  • Proficiency in Python for data processing, API development, and application building.
  • Strong understanding of LLMs, embeddings, RAG architecture, and prompt engineering.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and related services for AI solution deployment.
  • Strong SQL or data querying experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement end-to-end document intelligence solutions.
  • Build and manage LLM workflows, prompts, and evaluation pipelines.
  • Develop RAG pipelines leveraging vector databases and search capabilities.
  • Perform document ingestion, OCR, preprocessing, chunking, and normalization.
  • Build and expose REST APIs for AI services.
  • Apply prompt engineering techniques to improve response accuracy.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate OCR, embedding, and language models.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize AI pipelines for scalability and performance.
  • Write and optimize queries for data validation and analysis.
  • Develop internal tools and prototypes for business users.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate outcomes.
Should Have:
  • Experience with LLM evaluation and monitoring.
  • Exposure to MLOps, CI/CD, or DevOps practices.
  • Experience with document processing use cases such as invoices or contracts.
Skills:
  • Strong expertise in Azure ecosystem and AI services.
  • Knowledge of vector databases and search technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to deliver production-grade AI solutions.
Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
