RATE $65.00 - $85.00ph W2 Summary: The Implementation & Deployment Lead ensures platform implementations are executed with precision and consistency while building scalable processes that improve delivery outcomes over time. The lead owns the end-to-end execution of the implementation and deployment workflow, ensuring successful, on-time, and high-quality delivery for clients. This role is responsible for establishing, standardizing, and continuously improving repeatable implementation and deployment processes, leveraging lessons learned, metrics, and stakeholder feedback to improve scalability, efficiency, and client outcomes over time.
Responsibilities: - Own the full lifecycle of platform implementations, from kickoff through production deployment
- Serve as the project manager for a key implementation project, driving execution, accountability, and delivery
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and dependencies
- Proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues impacting delivery
- Coordinate across Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, Operations, and Client teams
- Facilitate regular status reviews, stakeholder updates, and escalation management
- Ensure alignment between technical delivery, business readiness, and client expectations
- Establish and evolve repeatable implementation and deployment playbooks
- Define standard workflows, templates, and delivery artifacts
- Incorporate lessons learned and post-implementation feedback into process improvements
- Ensure implementation deliverables meet quality, security, and compliance standards
- Lead go-live readiness reviews and deployment coordination
- Partner with Support and Operations to ensure smooth transition to steady-state support
Requirements: - Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional technology implementations
- Experience managing enterprise or SaaS platform deployments
- Demonstrated experience integrating with enterprise ERP systems, including SAP, Oracle, and similar platforms
- Strong background in project management methodologies (Agile, hybrid, or waterfall as appropriate)
- Experience with platform or data-driven products
- Experience working with regulated or enterprise clients
