Position: Senior Quality Automation Engineer (SDET/QA)
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Onsite) (In person interview)
Preference: Need Local to GA
Mandatory: TypeScript and Playwright
Note: We are looking for a strong candidate who can take ownership of working with cross-functional teams and is strong in UI and API automation frameworks.
Candidate should have good experience with Google Cloud Platform infrastructure & CI/CD and be able to coordinate effectively with offshore & onshore counterparts.
Job Description:
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will:
- Good experience in QA process and Test Strategies
- Good API testing experience and documentation
- Good Knowledge and experience working with cloud like Google Cloud Platform / AWS
- Good in OOP's concepts with Java Script / typeScript or Java
- Playwright - Preferred OR Cypress
- Experience in building Automation frameworks with Fixtures, Page Object Model, CICD, Test Data Management
- Design and develop detailed test plans and automation strategies based on product requirements.
- Manage and enhance the automation suite.
- Log, track, and verify defect fixes in Jira.
- Plan regression cycles and create quality artifacts.
- Conduct functional, regression, load, and system testing.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automated test scripts/scenarios.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and QA team members to define acceptance criteria.
- Execute thorough test plans efficiently and effectively.
- Follow and improve testing processes.
- Stay updated with new technologies and incorporate them into the testing process as needed.
Required Skills:
5+ years in software QA automation.
4+ years testing front-end, back-end, and web services.
4+ years scripting in test automation frameworks.
Proficiency in Behavior Driven Development (BDD), Test Driven Development (TDD), and Gherkin specifications.
Expertise in Java, Selenium, and Cucumber.
Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
