The Role
As our Entry-Level Business Data Analyst, you will be the bridge between raw information and real-world action. This isn’t just about sitting behind a screen; it’s about collaborating with different teams to figure out what’s working, what isn''t, and where we should go next. We view this as a true mentorship role where you’ll be supported as you learn to navigate business strategy and advanced analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate data from various internal sources to ensure it is ready for analysis.
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for leadership.
- Build and maintain intuitive dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Partner with stakeholders across HR, Sales, and Operations to understand their data needs.
- Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements for new projects.
- Perform basic statistical analysis to help support high-level decision-making.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of all company data.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.
- Basic understanding of SQL for querying and extracting data from databases.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Natural analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical teams.
- A proactive mindset and the ability to handle large, complex datasets effectively.
