Role: Data Engineer – Demand
Location: Orlando, FL (Need Locals only).
Type: Contract
Required Qualifications
Platform & Technology:
• Microsoft Fabric experience (primary platform)
◦ Lakehouse architecture and implementation
◦ Spark Notebooks development
◦ Schema design and management
◦ File and folder structure management
◦ Access permissions and security
• Alternative Platform Experience (acceptable):
◦ Databricks lakehouse engineering, OR
◦ Other lakehouse platforms with transferable skills
Core Technical Skills:
• Spark or PySpark programming experience (essential)
• Data pipeline development and orchestration
• Working with multi-source data integration (experience with 10+ source systems preferred)
• Understanding of lakehouse file structures and data organization
• Data engineering best practices for large-scale data platforms
Nice to have:
• Understanding of customer interaction data and dimensional modeling concepts
• Experience with customer data platforms or Customer 360 initiatives (nice to have)
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric lakehouse environment
• Write and optimize Spark notebooks for data processing and transformation
• Manage lakehouse schemas, file structures, and data organization
• Integrate data from multiple source systems into the Customer 360 platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across HR, enterprise, and operations domains
• Ensure data quality, security, and access controls are properly implemented
• Support ongoing technical operations for the Customer 360 initiative
