Job Title: Mainframe Developer (W2 ONLY)

Location : Remote(Columbus, Ohio)

Duration : 6 months +

Job Summary

candidates with strong "z/OS Connect" hands on experience -

Must-have (Core)

Hands-on development experience in COBOL, CICS, and DB2 for both online and batch applications, including analysis, coding, unit testing, and Migration.

Strong working knowledge of CICS application programming, including COMMAREA, CICS screens.

Experience in developing CICS web services with SOAP/REST.

Troubleshooting skills for production/test issues such as CICS abends, DB2 SQL errors, time outs etc.

Nice-to-have (Modernization / Integration)

Experience creating/exposing APIs using IBM z/OS Connect, including COBOL copybook JSON mapping and service enablement of existing business logic.

Familiar with API testing tools such as Postman/Ready API/SoapUI for request/response validation and payload troubleshooting.
