We are seeking an experienced Windows Desktop Engineer with 5 6 years of hands-on expertise in designing, deploying, managing, and supporting Windows desktop environments in enterprise settings. The ideal candidate will have strong technical depth, excellent troubleshooting skills, and experience automating desktop management tasks. Key Responsibilities Manage, maintain, and optimize Windows desktop environments across the organization. Deploy, configure, and support Windows 10/11 systems, ensuring security and performance standards. Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell preferred) for system deployment and configuration management. Administer and support Intune, SCCM/Configuration Manager, or other endpoint management tools. Create and maintain OS images, application packaging, and patch management processes. Troubleshoot complex desktop, network, and application issues, escalating as needed. Collaborate with security teams to enforce endpoint security baselines, policies, and compliance. Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting processes. Assist in end-user support escalations and participate in on-call rotation if required. Required Qualifications 6+ years of experience as a Desktop Engineer, Endpoint Engineer, or related role. Strong expertise with Windows 10/11, group policies, and Active Directory. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) and/or SCCM. Experience with imaging tools (MDT, Autopilot, WDS, or similar). Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP). Familiarity with endpoint security tools (EDR, antivirus, disk encryption, etc.). Ability to diagnose and resolve complex desktop issues quickly and efficiently. Preferred Skills Experience in enterprise environments (1,000+ endpoints). Exposure to Azure AD and Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Knowledge of application packaging technologies (MSI, MSIX). Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SCOM, Nexthink, Systrack).
