About the Role

This role supports a hardware-in-the-loop test laboratory focused on certification and integration testing of mission-critical flight software. The engineer will contribute to the modernization of locally developed test, data recording, and analysis tools. The position involves hands-on software development in a collaborative, multi-disciplined engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and integrate software solutions on Linux platforms
  • Develop and maintain applications using C++ and Python
  • Participate in requirements definition, technical design, and peer reviews
  • Modernize and enhance existing test execution and data analysis tools
  • Work with client/server architectures and networked systems
  • Integrate software with databases, including PostgreSQL
  • Adhere to established coding standards and development best practices
  • Collaborate closely with engineers across multiple disciplines
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize system performance
  • Contribute to documentation and technical knowledge sharing
Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years of C++ development experience on Linux (RHEL)
  • 7+ years of Python development experience on Linux (RHEL)
  • 2+ years of experience using Git, Make, and VS Code
  • Hands-on experience with client/server architectures
  • Experience with network administration concepts
  • 1+ year of experience working with PostgreSQL databases
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Experience with Joint Simulation Environment (JSE)
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript
  • Exposure to ADA and/or Perl
