Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite)
Job Type: Contract (Long-Term)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Java Microservice Architect to join our team for a long-term onsite contract in Santa Clara, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance microservices architectures using modern Java technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect scalable, resilient microservices-based solutions
• Lead the development and implementation of enterprise-grade applications
• Define best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and product teams
• Drive API design, integration strategies, and service orchestration
• Ensure system performance, security, and reliability
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in Java development
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture
• Experience with RESTful APIs, API Gateway, and service mesh
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
• Strong knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience with database technologies (SQL/NoSQL)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with domain-driven design (DDD)
• Knowledge of security frameworks (OAuth2, JWT)
• Prior experience in large-scale distributed systems

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Work Authorization: Open (Must be able to work onsite in the US)
