The TD Electrical Device Characterization team pushes the boundaries of Micron's memory technology. We explore device behavior, uncover insights through data, and partner across engineering groups to enable next-generation products. We're a hands-on team that thrives on curiosity, precision, and collaboration.

In this role, you will drive electrical characterization for advanced memory technologies. You'll work closely with device, process, and product teams to turn measurements into meaningful understanding and help guide technology development. Your work directly shapes the performance and reliability of Micron's future NAND, DRAM, and emerging memory products.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead electrical characterization for advanced memory devices
  • Develop measurement methods, algorithms, and scalable standards
  • Automate data pipelines and analysis using Python, JSL, C/C++, and dashboard tools
  • Architect test setups and manage wafer probe and ATE test flows
  • Investigate device behavior, analyze data, identify root causes, and present findings

Minimum Qualifications:
  • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong foundation in semiconductor physics, device characterization, and processing
  • Experience with semiconductor test equipment such as SMUs, SPAs, LCR meters, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, pulse/waveform generators, and wafer probers
  • Proficiency in Python, C/C++, Unix/Linux, and JMP/JSL
  • Ability to scale characterization methods into production environments

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Deep understanding of NAND, DRAM, and emerging memory architectures
  • Experience with parametric ATE and advanced test instrumentation
  • Demonstrated technical leadership or mentoring experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
