Position Summary

We are seeking a Solution Architect with strong banking domain expertise and experience in core banking platforms, preferably FIS IBS Core. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technology teams to understand business needs, translate requirements into architecture solutions, and support core banking modernization, conversion, data integration, and operational transformation initiatives.

This role requires a combination of banking knowledge, technical architecture expertise, data management experience, and the ability to solve complex business and technology challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on architecture design and solution development for core banking initiatives, system enhancements, and technology modernization efforts.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand current processes, business challenges, and future-state requirements.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable architecture solutions.
• Analyze existing systems and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and business capabilities.
• Develop architecture artifacts including solution diagrams, integration designs, data flows, and technical specifications.
• Design and support core banking conversion and migration activities, including data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Create and maintain data models, metadata repositories, and source-to-target mapping documentation.
• Design ETL and data integration solutions supporting banking applications and enterprise platforms.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, networking, security, and operations teams to implement solutions.
• Provide technical guidance for complex problem resolution and enhancement opportunities across banking systems.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions aligned with business objectives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, application architecture, or related technical roles.
• Strong banking and financial services industry experience.
• Experience with core banking platforms, preferably FIS IBS Core.
• Proven experience supporting core banking conversion, migration, or transformation projects.

• Experience with Salesforce and nCino platforms.
• Banking loan operations and servicing experience.
• Commercial, consumer, or retail banking knowledge.
• Experience with banking operational workflows and back-office processes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of banking regulations, risk management, and compliance requirements.
