Job Title: Junior Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL
Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with embedded software development for AMD/Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC platforms
Support Embedded Linux and bare-metal application development and debugging
Develop and maintain software interfaces for FPGA logic, RF transceivers, sensors, and peripherals
Support hardware bring-up, board validation, and system integration
Work with communication interfaces including Ethernet, UART, SPI, I2C, USB, and PCIe
Develop test utilities and automated validation tools
Perform laboratory testing, troubleshooting, and system performance analysis
Support field demonstrations and collect/analyze system data
Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and software design documents
Participate in software design reviews and technical discussions

Key Skills:

Embedded C/C++ development
Embedded Linux and/or bare-metal programming
FPGA/SoC platforms, preferably Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+
Hardware/software integration and debugging
Experience with embedded communication interfaces
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
