W2: Sr. Software Engineer (Java)

Rate- $58/hr W2
9 Mos (possible extension/conversion)

Work can be REMOTE EST but, candidates willing to work hybrid in Atlanta, GA are preferred.
Interview: 3 rounds via video

THIS IS A Sr Java engineer role that ideally has some DevOps & Security experience. NOT a Security Eng with some Java.
Tech Stack:
- Azure cloud environment
- Java (primary technology)
- Python and Bash scripting
- Homegrown applications ranging from 10-20 years old
- WAF technologies (Cloudflare mentioned, but not required)
- SIEM integrations
- Wiz, Artifactory, Dependabot
- Containerized environments and automation initiatives
- Heavy collaboration with Security, Development, Architecture, SRE, and Application teams
Required Experience:
• Senior-level Software Engineer/Developer
• Strong Java development experience
• Hands-on coding and application modification experience
• Ability to interpret requirements and implement solutions independently
• Experience working in large enterprise environments
• Strong communication skills
• Self-starter who requires minimal oversight
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Security-minded engineering approach
Preferred:
- DevSecOps background
- Application security experience
- WAF implementation/configuration experience
- Azure security experience
- SIEM/logging integration experience
- Containerization and automation experience
- Experience with Cloudflare, Wiz, Artifactory, and Dependabot
- Ability to evaluate architecture and recommend improvements
