NoSQL and SQL Database Platform Engineer
Seattle,WA

Key Responsibilities

· Design, build, and maintain high‑performance, scalable database solutions

· Manage and optimize data pipelines and integrations using Azure Data Factory

· Develop and support data processing and analytics workloads using Azure Databricks

· Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform following IaC best practices

· Ensure data integrity, security, availability, backup, and recovery

· Collaborate with application, analytics, and platform teams to support data needs

· Monitor database health and proactively resolve performance and reliability issues

Required Skills

· Professional‑level expertise in database design, SQL, and performance tuning

· Terraform – Infrastructure as Code for cloud and data platforms

· Azure Data Factory – data ingestion, orchestration, and pipeline management

· Azure Databricks – data processing, transformation, and analytics

· Strong understanding of data security, governance, and access control

· Experience working in cloud‑based data platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure

Nice to Have

· Experience with large‑scale data platforms and analytics solutions

· Exposure to CI/CD, automation, and monitoring for data systems

· Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery strategies
