Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Planview SPM Technical Consultant with strong expertise in configuring and integrating Planview Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) solutions within enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Planview SPM or Planview Portfolios, strong REST API integration skills, and a solid understanding of strategic planning, demand management, and resource capacity planning processes.

Core Responsibilities

Planview SPM Configuration

• Develop and configure Planview SPM modules including:

  • Portfolios

  • Roadmaps

  • Outcomes

  • OKRs

• Customize workflows, notifications, and business rules.

• Build custom reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Planview reporting tools.

Enterprise Integration

• Design and implement REST API integrations with enterprise systems such as:

  • Jira

  • ServiceNow

  • SAP

  • Workday

• Develop automation scripts using JavaScript or Python.

• Automate data synchronization across enterprise tools.

• Troubleshoot integration and performance issues.

Data Migration & Optimization

• Support data migration, cleansing, and transformation initiatives.

• Perform configuration tuning and performance optimization.

• Ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.

Collaboration & Documentation

• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Work closely with functional and business teams.

• Maintain documentation for configurations, integrations, and customizations.

• Provide technical troubleshooting and production support as needed.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Planview SPM or Planview Portfolios

• Strong REST API and JSON expertise

• Experience integrating enterprise systems (Jira, ServiceNow, SAP, Workday)

• Proficiency in scripting (JavaScript, Python)

• Understanding of:

  • Strategic planning

  • Demand management

  • Resource capacity planning

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Planview Certified Developer or Architect

• Experience working in large enterprise environments

• Exposure to portfolio transformation initiatives
