Project / Program Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has an enterprise client seeking a Project/Program Manager III in Seattle, WA.

Summary:
In this role, you will work with some of the most talented engineers in the design, development, and delivery of physical distribution systems around the globe. You are responsible for managing a technology or integration project, successfully delivering the solution to meet project goals. You may work directly with external equipment vendors, customers, or partners, and you have a solid understanding of the design approaches and industry technologies utilized in fulfillment and distribution center designs. To meet timelines and minimize disruption to support teams, you manage the overall schedule, proactively mitigate risks, and keep the scope of engineering deliverables under control.

Responsibilities:
* Oversees all aspects of projects/program
* Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program
* Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project/program

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area
* 6+ years of Project/Program experience
* Program Management skills - a lot of coordination with operations
* Technical skills with engineering experience
* Networking knowledge/testing experience
* Earns Trust
* Bias for action
* Strong communication skills
* Experience with reviewing engineering docs
* Experience with managing temporary systems

Nice to Have:
* Engineering experience would be great (electrical/mechanical aspect)
* Experience of retrofits or live operational sites

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
