Experience Required

• Internship / vocational hands-on experience in a fabrication or prototyping shop environment.


• Ability to interpret and mechanical drawings and GD&T.


• Familiarity with common materials (aluminum, steel, copper, permanent magnets, plastics, epoxies, adhesives, etc.) and their mechanical characteristics.


• Knowledge of shop tools and software


• Familiarity with manual mill and lathe


• Strong communication, multitasking, & inter-personal skills.


• Demonstrated ability to work with others across multidisciplinary teams.


• Computer skills (MS office, outlook, teams, etc.)

• Working knowledge of cad tools is a plus.


• Knowledge of electric machines (transformers, electric motors, sensors, bearings, etc.) is a plus

Education Required


HS Diploma / GED


(Associate degree in a manufacturing technology field is a plus)
