Job Description
We are seeking a SAP Consultant Contractor to join our dynamic team supporting a client engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAP S/4HANA across MM, PP, PM, CO, FI with PMMO/GPD and a proven ability to implement and optimize SAP solutions that enable earned value management, procurement lifecycle visibility, labor tracking, and forecasting.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and configure SAP S/4HANA modules to meet business needs and improve system functionality.
- Analyze business processes and recommend SAP solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Create and maintain documentation for SAP configurations, customizations, and integrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP applications and integrations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise.
- Enable purchase part earned value capabilities, including baseline material costing, procurement lifecycle reporting, and creation of SRR and financial summary dashboards.
- Define and validate integration points between S/4HANA and Cobra for material cost and ETC data.
- Design BOM, part, and WBS level data models to support roll up/down, drill down, and snapshot reporting.
- Develop labor tracking and performance simulation for make parts, including reports with quantities, hours, BCWP, BCWR, CPI, and SPI.
- Build make part cost baselines and support repair, rework, and scrap analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Advanced experience with SAP S/4HANA (MM, PP, PM, CO, FI) and PMMO/GPD.
- Minimum of 6 years of SAP implementation and business analysis experience.
- Strong knowledge of procurement and supplier management lifecycle from requisition to payment, including status and value tracking.
- Experience with inventory status, excess/scrap, and unallocated material impacts on EAC.
- Ability to differentiate material categories such as GPD material, raw material, SRR, vendor services, and subcontract material with appropriate EV methodology.
- Capability to build time-phased ETC aligned to contract Period of Performance dates and earned value metrics (BCWP, BCWS, ACWP, CPI, SPI).
- Data modeling and reporting experience at BOM, part, and WBS levels.
- Understanding of manufacturing finance, production order costing, quality, and rework processes.
- Knowledge of shop floor routing, production orders, work centers, and standard hours.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with Cobra for cost and ETC data.
- Experience creating SRR and financial summary dashboards for earned value reporting.
