Informatica MDM & Data Governance Consultant
Introduction
This position requires a candidate with 8 or more years of experience in Informatica MDM, Data Engineering, Data Governance, and Data Quality. The consultant will be responsible for supporting Data Engineering and Data Governance work in SHARP.
Responsibilities
- Understand business objectives and problems, identify alternative solutions, and perform cost/benefit analysis of alternatives.
- Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing computer systems.
- Confer with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures and identify specific input and output requirements.
- Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
- Review computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine the feasibility of requested program changes.

| 10 | Required | Experience using Informatica tools including Powercenter, IICS, IDMC, MDM, Axon, EDC, IDQ, Customer360, Supplier360, Entity360. |
| 10 | Required | Experience establishing Master Data and Reference data for large organizations. Experience with Informatica MDM is preferred. |
| 10 | Required | Experience implementing data quality rules using Informatica DQ. |
| 4 | Preferred | Experience working with enterprise scale data sets in Snowflake. |
| 4 | Preferred | Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field. Equivalent work experience can be substituted. Master''s degree or 6+ years of experience is preferred. |
| 2 | Preferred | Experience in healthcare or Public Health preferred. |
| 2 | Preferred | Experience at a state agency preferred. |
| 2 | Preferred | Experience with Python scripts for automation and interaction with APIs. |
