GovCIO is currently hiring for a Program Manager to Manage the Deployable Services Team supporting our USAF Customer. This position will be located in Hampton, VA (Langely AFB)and will be a fully onsite position.
ResponsibilitiesGovCIO integrates deployable communications capabilities on behalf of Air Combat Command (ACC) A2 to provide warfighters with deployable SCI communications capabilities worldwide. GovCIO manages the hardware and software configurations; develops and provides training; provides field service support, provides logistics services; and manages Information Assurance and Risk Management Framework processes on behalf of ACC.
Directs all phases of the program from inception through completion. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Coordinates the preparation of the plans, estimates, performance work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial forcasts. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems/risks and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
Producing top quality products for the customer is vital. Primary duties of the Program Manager include, but are not limited to:
- Lead project managers and manage assignments for respective team members
- Collaborate with team members to determine the best practices for project execution
- Flexible work attitude and adjustment to customer IT restrictions pertaining to development and deployment of systems
- Strong problem solving and good communication skills
- Comfortable to brief senior military and civilian leaders with updates on project progress
- Ability to positively control cost, schedule, performance and quality of the program as work progresses
- Ability to research and choose the best, technically feasible solution that meets customer requirements
- Manages and supervises professional and technical personnel performing in their customary disciplines.
- Maintains aggressive efforts to achieve objectives.
- Prepares manpower staffing plans, including skill and labor mix, to support contract operations. May be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff as needed.
- Monitors contract, subcontract, and funding; prepares forecasts of program financial performance.
- Acquires follow-on business associated with areas of responsibility and supports new business development as needed.
QualificationsHigh School with 8 - 12 years (or commensurate experience)

- Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI
- Managing multiple, complex, technical projects
- Managing budgets and cost projections/forcasts
- Planning and estimating work requirements
- Confident in Microsoft Office applications
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in flexible situations balancing Corporate and Customer needs
- IT professional background
- Military or government experience in operations
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Deployable NIPR/SIPR/JWICS communciations
- Tactical communications
- PMP Certified
- IAM Level II (i.e. Sec+)
- Experience and knowledge with DoD or Intelligence Community environment
Posted Salary RangeUSD $140,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
